The description of the Holy Quran

First: How did God Almighty describe the Qur'an?
1- It is noble
God Almighty said:
(إِنَّهُ لَقُرْآنٌ كَرِيمٌ) [الواقعة: 77]
(Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an) [Al-Waqi'ah: 77]
The oath is made by affirming the Qur'an's truth, that it is without doubt, and that it is noble, meaning abundant in goodness and knowledge. Thus, all goodness and knowledge are derived from the Book of God and derived from it.
A Look at the Holy Verse
The generous in the Language
A descriptive adjective denoting permanence from the verb "karuma" (generous)
Al-Kareem (Generous): One of the attributes and names of God Almighty. He is the One who is abundantly good, the Generous Giver, whose giving never runs out.
Al-Kareem: The Forgiving
Al-Kareem: An adjective for everything that is pleasing and praiseworthy in its context.
Generous stone: Precious
Generous character: Noble and sublime.
Generous speech: Satisfying in its meanings and eloquent expressions.
Generous provision: Abundant
What do you understand from all these linguistic meanings that indicate that God Almighty describes the Holy Quran as generous?
Does this mean that God Almighty likens the Quran to a generous person who gives generously to those around him? The truth is yes, the Quran is read by someone who is specialized in language – grammar – morphology – cosmic physics – geography – history of nations and others, he will take from it and drink from it and will not be satisfied nor reach its end as long as he is occupied with it in a certain specialization. The non-specialized, ordinary, non-religious reader: corrects concepts as long as he reads it, reforms morals, refines crookedness and improves with time the degree of religiosity. The religious person who reads the Quran: drinks from it generously, sometimes by memorizing it, improving his recitation at other times, increasing his faith at other times, being patient in the face of hardships at other times, and arriving at wisdom and meaning and changing his perspective on life. So the religious reader of the Quran looks at the events around him with the glasses of the Quran.
2- There is no doubt about it
Allah Almighty
"ذلك الكتاب لا ريب فيه" [البقرة: ٢].
“This is the Book about which there is no doubt.” [Al-Baqarah: 2]
Among the linguistic meanings of the word “doubt” are:
Doubt: suspicion, doubt, and accusation.
What does it mean that God Almighty describes the Qur’an as beyond doubt? Life is based on suspicion and doubt, and truthfulness is rare, and truthful people are rare. A bride thinks she will never marry, and a partner thinks he will never leave his partner. She thinks, he thinks, and they think. The only thing that is not based on doubt in this life is death. Other than that, there are many possibilities, and there are good and bad possibilities. Most importantly, this is a book that God Almighty says is beyond doubt. That is, take what is in it with complete confidence that it will not belie you, and what is in it will not be like the Hereafter. It is merely a matter of conjecture, rather, it is definitive, meaning that whatever happens will happen. This is what we understand from the fact that the Qur’an is beyond doubt.
Let me give you an example
Imagine you work for a well-known company that has been around for, say, 80 years. A well-known, you'd love to work for. Let's say it's Apple, for example. Do you trust managers when they give you advice at work, especially the CEO? Of course, have you ever asked yourself why? Is it because of his age, his position, or something else? No, but simply because his company has a name that's no less successful than 80 years ago. From one success to another, there's never been a failure. The example ends. The evidence remains: Today, there are more than 7,000 earthly religions on Earth, including scientific robots that are abundant in learning and information, possess profound thought, and claim divinity. Yet, their religions have only been successful in the real world—if they have ever succeeded—and have adherents—for a few years. The less you trust them, the more. A book that dates back more than 1,000 years continues to yield information to this day, sometimes on cosmic physics, and sometimes on the history of nations under UNESCO's umbrella, such as the "Thamud Monuments" in Saudi Arabia.
3- It is Dear
God Almighty said
(وَإِنَّهُۥ لَكِتَٰبٌ عَزِيزٞ) [فصلت:٤١]
(And indeed, it is a dear Book) [Fussilat: 41]
Among the linguistic meanings of dear
Invincible
His status among his friends was strengthened, honored.
A man was honored among his family: he became precious.
He was honored by his friendship: he was proud of it.
You are precious to me: you are honored by me, you have a position and esteem.
They are my dear ones: they are my beloved ones.
I knew him. Aziz al-Nafs: Generous in soul, noble.
What does it mean that God Almighty describes the Quran as "honorable"?
Let us examine some linguistic meanings to answer this question
Untouchable
The meaning of "honorable" is "untouchable." This means that no one can destroy it, for example, in front of Western authority and cameras, and no Muslim can resist this aggression. No, rather, it means that even if its records have been cut off due to war, armed conflict, or terrorist actions from any other religion (terrorism has no homeland or religion), its actual records have been preserved in the hearts of millions of people for 1,000 years or more, and they have inherited its preservation from father to son. No one has overcome it, and no one has been able to erase it from existence.
It strengthened its status
He was honorable among his people. An Arabic proverb says, "Have mercy on the honorable among those who have been humiliated." Why? Because he was dear (honorable - noble among his people) and then he was humiliated for any worldly reason, Allah the Almighty describes his book as noble and honorable, and if you read this book you will find that its value system that has been around for 1000 years is superior to any value system you have seen or even heard of. The disaster is not in Islam or the Quran, the disaster is in the Muslims’ application of this book, which is a dear book to its lovers, it is not easy for them, they put it in their cars to memorize and cherish it, you find Muslims everywhere, taking texts from it as small messages from Allah the Almighty, it is basically the word of Allah, and in Islam: if you want to speak to Allah, then pray, and if you want Allah the Blessed and Exalted to speak to you, listen to or read the Quran.
4- It is glorious
God Almighty said
(قٓۚ وَٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ ٱلۡمَجِيدِ) [ق:١]
(Qaf. By the Glorious Qur'an) [Qaf: 1]
A descriptive adjective denoting permanence from "majd": generous, noble, good in deeds, qualities, and characteristics, perfect, complete, and supreme in honor.
Al-Majeed: Abundant in glory
Do you know the glory and fame enjoyed by politicians, kings, and celebrities?
1- Did you know that 1,000 years ago there was a holy book with the same fame as the Qur'an? Yes, perhaps the Bible, yes, but we as Muslims are somewhat biased—not like the Qur'an—its sermons and wisdom, and it left no small or great unmentioned.
2- Do you know a famous book written 1,000 years ago that is still read today, as it was on the day it was revealed and with the same vowel markings as it was revealed, other than the Qur'an?
4- Do you know a book loved by millions and hated by millions more other than the Qur'an? Even hatred is fame?
5 - It is blessed
God Almighty said
(كِتَٰبٌ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ إِلَيۡكَ مُبَٰرَكٞ لِّيَدَّبَّرُوٓاْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ) [ص:٢٩]
(This is a blessed Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], so that they may reflect upon its verses.) [Sad: 29]
Mubarak: A word said when congratulating someone on a newborn, marriage, success, or something else. It has a pleasing sound to the ear and signifies growth and increase. It also means: "The sky has blessed" (barakat al-sama'): its rain has poured down without interruption. It also signifies increase and growth.
Have you memorized the Quran? Perhaps you are on the path to memorization, or perhaps you have completed it? Have you seen a blessing in your livelihood? In your children, in your work, in your inner self, or in everything you have ever wished for? Of course, this does not conflict with the misfortunes and hardships of life, as life is always misery. Even the infidel West says about life, “Its Ups and Downs.” But in normal circumstances, you must see the effect of the Qur’an in your life. Learn it and teach it to your children, as there is a blessing in taking it that only those who have a connection to it know.
6- It's Wise
God Almighty said
(وَإِنَّهُۥ فِيٓ أُمِّ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ لَدَيۡنَا لَعَلِيٌّ حَكِيمٌ) [الزخرف:٤]
(And indeed, it is in the Mother of the Book with Us, sublime and wise.) [Az-Zukhruf: 4]
Meanings of Wise in the Language
Al-Hakeem: One of the Names of God Almighty
Al-Hakeem: Possessor of Wisdom
Al-Hakeem: The Philosopher
Al-Hakeem: The Physician
The Wise Reminder: The Qur'an
A Wise Man: A discerning, wise man
God Almighty likened the Qur'an to a man, but he is not like any other man you meet in life. As you go through life, you see men who are eighty or perhaps one hundred years old, and you find them possessing nothing but the wisdom of a child. There is a boy no older than ten, and you listen to his words as if you were standing before a man who has turned the world upside down in his hand, just as one would turn a person's head. His coin, what is this? It is psychological maturity, it is the wisdom that is given in proportion to the measure of the Lord of all destinies. The infidel West says: No pain, no gain, and they were right. There are the wise men of China, the wise men of India, and the wise men here and there. You find a Japanese girl speaking to her mother, while she is just a child, with wisdom that will make your hair turn white. She talks to her about the gratitude and love that fills her heart towards her parents and advice for her mother to deal with her father. In every clip, she says a sentence, “Don’t exalt” - a video that became famous on social media - so please: Don’t say wisdom is Arabic and monopolize it for yourself. This is in principle. Or secondly: Wisdom, as the hadith says: “The lost property of the believer, wherever he finds it, he is more deserving of it and its people,” and we all memorize that. So what about this book, which perhaps there is not a single one of it in your home or on the shelf filled with dust, or even in a closet whose location you do not know, but the organizer of your home knows it and you do not? Just know that this Qur’an is wise, and God Almighty has described it with this. You are searching for wisdom in health sometimes and in relationships between people at other times, and you are thinking whether to believe or not until now. Move Lift the shackles of arrogance from your shoulders, and it is more correct that you distanced yourself from the circle of faith. Open your book, and do not let your name be Muslim while you do not know anything about it. The truth is that you benefit from its wisdom.
7- It is a healing for what is in the hearts
God Almighty said
(O mankind, there has come to you instruction from your Lord and healing for what is in the hearts and guidance and mercy for the believers) [Yunus: 57]
First: Advice
Advice is completely different from advice. Advice comes from the heart and often reaches the heart. Advice is what you want from the one in front of you, and sometimes it is better than you, if the advice is sincerely for God Almighty. You will find a father advising his children, and you will find a mother advising her children based on her experience so they do not repeat her mistakes. A trustworthy teacher advises his children (not his students) just as he advises his children, exactly. In the hadith, it is said: "The advisor." Trustworthy. Whoever advises you to do the opposite of what they harbor in their heart is a dishonest person, a deceiver of God and His Messenger, contrary to the text of the noble hadith. As for admonition, it is a reminder of the consequences. If you do such-and-such, such-and-such will happen to you, and that's it. 1 + 1 = 2. There are some minds that do not understand or comprehend anything other than this way of thinking. Therefore, the Holy Quran diversifies its discourse between admonition and wisdom through the end of a story, the end of a nation, or even a story from the biography. For example, the Quran tells you, "And never say of anything, 'I will do that tomorrow,' except [in the event of] 'If God wills.'" This is a short, eloquent piece of wisdom, and even if you did not know the story of its revelation, it would suffice you as you go through life.
Second: Healing for what is in the hearts
One of the strange aspects of life is that it varies in people's eyes. Some see it as colorful and full of joy and happiness, while others see it as black and white, not even knowing the shades of either color. Others see it as the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saw it: beautiful and green, threatening to turn yellow and then crumble to the ground and be destroyed by the mere change of seasons. These are characteristics of the color green, which conveys youth, activity, and vitality and is soothing to the eye (a green garden). However, just one season of the year changes the color of the garden before your eyes. This is life, with ease and simplicity. There is no need for complex explanations to understand life. The evidence from this introduction is that life never remains the same as it was in the past. Perhaps life began sweet and joyful, followed by years of "autumn" that seemed like an eternity until the spring of life appeared again. We see extreme sadness, from the perspective of positive people—and there are many these days—as a sign of depression and that it threatens your positivity... etc. None of them know that sadness has benefits: yes, many benefits. If sadness has nothing but “psychological maturity + Pause then deep thinking that takes the soul to a place it cannot reach while in a state of not being sad at all at all”, the most important thing is that in this state of sadness: you absolutely cannot let someone look at you and say “Don’t be sad - these are the days - you have to be positive” and you almost attack him and tell him: Shut up, so who can you tolerate talking from while you are sad, who does not look at you and he has not experienced what you have experienced, right? So, there can’t be a person like you who doesn’t feel your feelings. Then comes the role of the Quran, you hear it as if you are hearing it for the first time in your life. Sometimes your tears flow while listening to it, you learn about Allah what you didn’t know before, and other times: you become arrogant with your actions: I pray - I fast on Mondays and Thursdays, I - if I were a woman - wear the hijab that Allah wanted - I memorize the Quran.. etc. So you become arrogant with your actions, which is one of the things that nullify actions, meaning they become useless no matter how many actions you have. It is said: Many acts of obedience result in pride and arrogance, and many acts of disobedience result in humiliation and brokenness. My dear, people enter upon Allah Almighty through many doors, through fasting - through prayer - through supplication.. etc. Some of them enter through the door of brokenness. And for the information of those who do not know: It is the greatest door of Allah, “brokenness.” He enters you and brings you closer and erases your sin and forgives you and even makes people forget your bad deeds sometimes. The Quran treats and heals diseases of the heart such as arrogance, envy, hatred, and others. You were reading it as God intended, and the more you are fair to people from yourself, and the more you work to prioritize people over your needs, and the more you do something that goes against your desires, this is also the greatest door to God, not to enter upon God this time, but to heal what is in your heart from the thieves of work “the work-frustrators.”
8 - It is in Arabic
God Almighty said
﴿ كِتَابٌ فُصِّلَتْ آيَاتُهُ قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا لِقَوْمٍ يَعْلَمُونَ ﴾ [فصلت: 3]
“A Book whose verses are detailed, an Arabic Qur’an for a people who know.” [Fussilat: 3]
"بلسانٍ عربيٍّ مبين" [الشعراء: ١٩٥]
“In a clear Arabic tongue.” [Ash-Shu’ara: 195]
﴿ قُرْآنًا عَرَبِيًّا غَيْرَ ذِي عِوَجٍ ﴾ [الزمر: 28]
“An Arabic Qur’an without any crookedness.” [Az-Zumar: 28]
You may know that the chosen language in space (on other planets) is Russian. You may have wondered why, or what does it have to do with me? Why? Perhaps the first to reach space was the Russian space station. What does it have to do with you? Indeed, it has nothing to do with you, and we have nothing to do with God Almighty’s choice, because the last of His books to Earth was in Arabic, not English—which is the dominant language today and will be the dominant language at the end of time—or ancient Latin, or Hebrew, or something else? You certainly know that all the divine books, and even the messengers, were among the children of Israel. This means that the main holy books of other religions are in Hebrew or ancient Aramaic, meaning that no one can read them except Jewish scholars (rabbis) or priests skilled in reading ancient languages. Perhaps you also know that the West is currently reviving some ancient extinct languages, such as Latin, by teaching experimental sciences in this previously extinct language at the most prestigious Western universities, forcing learners to revive this language from extinction. Now, let us quickly, without refuting the facts, understand why God Almighty may have chosen Arabic over all the world's languages for this final book.
1. Arabic is currently selected by the British Council for Languages as one of the five languages at the top of its list of languages to learn as essential for future reading.
2. The Arabic language has several words for the same pronunciation, unlike most other languages in the world.
3. Although the Arabic language emerged thousands of years ago and is considered one of the oldest languages that have not yet died out, it is a gift from the Creator. Tell me what you know about hieroglyphics—or Syriac, ancient Chinese, or any other language—it simply became extinct.
4. Even if you don't have a poetic ear, you will not appreciate authentic poetry except in Classical Arabic.
5. Among its virtues, it is also the chosen language to be spoken in Paradise, among the languages of the entire world.
Now... speak whatever you want with your friends, with your children, with your family, but don't forget anymore: the language of the people of Paradise. Don't forget what the British Council chooses for its citizens, wishing them well, while you hide from us. Today, in some Arab countries, every grocery store in a large supermarket lists you in English: doctors, laboratories, even chatting between young people has been reduced from Arabic and converted to English, then abbreviated to emojis (expressive smileys). This is dangerous. Why? Because an integral part of the language is "writing", and if you lose the language, you lose a part of your Arab identity. I hear you saying: Don't exaggerate things, not to this extent. No, it is a fact. Research the set of elements of material culture and you will learn that writing is an element of culture. Finally: God chose the Arabic language for this religion and this holy book, and what would you choose? Rather, consider it an act of worship among other acts of worship if you do not master it, or if you are from the infidel West: learning it may benefit you in some way.
9 - It guides to the truth and to a straight path
God Almighty said
“They said, ‘O our people, indeed we have heard a Book revealed after Moses, confirming what was before it. It guides to the truth and to a straight path.’” [Al-Ahqaf: 30]
First: Truth
Are you truthful? Are you truthful? Do you speak the truth? Do you revolve around the millstone of truth wherever it turns? Why am I asking these questions? But if you are not this person, you will not benefit from the Quran. Just leave it alone for someone better than you. But if you love the truth, even if you are not one of its people, but you love the truth and its people, then you are with those you love, and whoever walks on the path will reach it. Here and here only will you benefit from the Quran. The most important thing for you to be among those who seek the truth is to know that Allah Almighty has tests that are not like the stupid exam paper that you wrote on in schools and universities, in which someone might have cheated you. No, no. Rather, they are tests that take you from within to outside in front of those around you, not just to yourself. And they are not when you are in a normal state, no, but rather at a time of differing interests. Then, if you are fair to others from your inner self, then you are seeking the truth. Just remember that your self that you defend its right day and night (sometimes by not feeling offensive feelings that you do not like - once by consuming better food and drink - once by fearing for your health) is your right, and we do not tell you otherwise. But the problem is that you defend this self by oppressing others, otherwise you might not know it tomorrow. Yes, have you read in the Quran once, “The Day We seal…” On their mouths, and their hands and feet will tell us what they used to do..." May God grant you and us well-being.
Second: The Straight Path
What is the definition of the straight path in geometry? It is the shortest path between two points, isn't it? The Quran guides you to avoid trial and error, and will quickly lead you to the pleasure of God Almighty. It has been said that it is based on your steadfastness in this religion (the path of the world). It is no thinner than a sword, nor thinner than a hair, but it is very, very difficult for some people to adhere to it without support. In some environments, everyone around them does not support them in their piety. Most importantly, you will waste effort, sweat, and time as long as you stray from the path of truth. God Almighty has combined your love for the truth with your steadfastness to move from the point of heedlessness to the point of faith in God and steadfastness in His commands.
Second: What are the basic topics that the Quran addresses?
You know that any award-winning writer has some common characteristics in their writing style. These include: first discussing generalities, then breaking them down into sections to better inform you of the details of their ideas; discussing high-level topics and avoiding trivial matters; and allowing highly educated people to read and enjoy them, gaining new insights from them. Meanwhile, semi-educated people, or those on the path to becoming educated, can draw from them sound language—elaborate vocabulary—and resonant sentences that they may memorize, which later serve as a source of eloquence and fluency.
Now: Have you found this in the Holy Quran? Let's explore it together
10- The Unseen
It appears frequently in the Holy Quran as a foundation and general principle of this religion. Then the Sunnah came to explain and clarify the nature of this divided unseen (seeing God, the jinn, the angels, and the Last Day).
11- Attention to Nature and the Universe
The Quran contains several verses about the necessity of contemplating the universe around you. Once, it tells you, "Say, 'Travel and observe.'" Another time, it says, "Say, 'Travel through the land and then observe.'" Another time, it says, "Say, 'Travel and observe.'" It appears in the same wording, "Then observe." It appears in three forms: once after you have completed the mission you traveled for, for which you traveled without knowing anything: education, marriage, business, etc. You must begin to observe and observe everything around you. Another time, it appears in the form, "And observe." Then comes the letter "and," which indicates companionship, meaning don't waste time while you are earning your doctorate from this or that country: Look around you, benefit from the best they have, and transfer it to your country. Our existence as peoples and tribes is only for mutual acquaintance, not just for worship. And the matter is getting more intense. The Danger of a Verse in Surat Al Imran
God Almighty said
“Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding.” [Al Imran: 190]
The meaning of this noble verse is found many times in the Holy Quran, but specifically in the verse of Al Imran, the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) spoke with Lady Aisha (may God be pleased with her): This is a long conversation, from which we have provided the portion that serves the purpose of this passage (… He said: “Should I not then be a grateful servant? A verse has been revealed to me tonight. Woe to the one who recites it and does not reflect upon it. {Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth} [Al Imran: 190] So imagine that the Messenger of God Peace be upon him: He stresses that whoever recites this particular verse in Surat Al Imran - and it is well known that the other ten verses of Surat Al Imran are a confirmed Sunnah to be recited before the night prayer - that whoever recites it and does not reflect on Allah’s creation will be afflicted with “woe,” which as we know is a severe punishment. So what about us who have delved into the depths of specialization and forgotten the universe around us? This is something that never happened in the first three centuries of the life of this nation that the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, praised.
12- The transactions
The Quran speaks extensively about transactions, to the point that, with a simplistic understanding of this matter, we might think that this religion, if divided into three parts, would be two-thirds (transactions) and only one-third (worship). Earthly laws were only created to improve relationships between people. Can you imagine that divine law came so that you would continue to fast during the day and pray at night, while your relationships with those around you (Muslims, followers of heavenly religions, followers of earthly religions, and those without religion) were extremely bad, even though you are beloved by God Almighty? Can you imagine this? If you imagine this is just an imagination, then reexamine your faith. Betrayal, deceit, and lying, to name a few, would remove you from the fold of faith. The famous hadith on this subject is, "Whoever deceives us is not one of us."
13 - Talking about the partners of the universe (jinn and animals)
First: The jinn
God has affairs in His creation in this life: a vast universe that has become narrow due to our narrowing it. This is merely a mentality, and nothing else. The Muslim mentality is open to everything strange, new, and innovative. The exploration that God Almighty wants us to discover in the horizons and within ourselves is nothing but a kind of open mentality that is not closed in on itself or its narrow society. Dear friend: I advise you to watch a short film on YouTube titled (You're not big enough). This film begins with an image of planet Earth, then slowly ascends to the rest of the planets in the Milky Way alone, from which there are many other paths. Then it takes you on a journey across the horizon, expanding and the universe around you expanding. Then you wake up to find that the video has ended, and with it your dark thoughts about God and the universe around you have ended. What I mean by this is that we do not live alone. The devils or jinn include righteous ones and others who are not. They are nations like us, and they marry, have children, and practice religion. They have their own religions and worlds. We're not talking about why God created them. We're talking about the fact that they actually exist. We're not talking about making fun of children with them, and we're old enough not to mention demons. Just get used to the fact that we have companions. You and your faith are either a good companion or a bad companion. They never leave us, so supplications for entering the restroom and other things are required so that they don't catch a glimpse of their evil eye. We don't say the evil eye of an envious person, but any evil eye. The most important thing is that God Almighty, when He created "a system of values, call it that - the constitution of Muslims, call it that - a holy book, call it that," whatever the names, the Quran, due to its greatness, did not neglect to mention the jinn - partners in the universe and the world we live in. He mentioned to us that among them are the righteous and others are not, in Surat al-Jinn. Glory be to Him who said in His Book, "We have neglected nothing in the Book."
Second: Animals
Are you a skilled writer - possessing eloquent language and linguistic fluency? Why do I ask this question? For two reasons.
A - The author of eloquent words, etc.
cannot help but write about valuable and important things in people's lives. Have you ever read a Muslim writer or philosopher who talked about animals or insects? Impossible, isn't it?
B - Anyone who reads your work, accustomed to words that are powerful in meaning and eloquence, would never imagine that you would write such nonsense, and you might even be ashamed of it.
I know the story of a mathematician
He recently converted to Islam. When he first embraced Islam, he would close the curtains and doors of his house tightly, lest someone see him prostrating to God on the ground and criticize his intelligence. You get what I mean?
Now, consider this: "God is not ashamed to give an example, even a mosquito."
And rightly so. The owner of a Swiss watch factory, or even a worker in a trivial aspect of the manufacturing chain in that factory, is not ashamed of his craftsmanship: because it is honorable, perfect, and excellent. God Almighty also is not ashamed to mention a creation that is insignificant in our view among His vast creations (a bee, a spider, a fly), or an elephant, for which He devotes an entire chapter, while He devotes a chapter to the lion, "the king of the jungle." He also speaks of the whale in the sea and of the Ababil birds. What do I mean? I mean, the "Noble Qur'an" is a final book. There's no room for boring narration, but rather mere examples of a nation among nations: the nation of insects, the nation of birds, the nation of wild animals such as horses, elephants, and cattle, and the nation of predatory animals such as wild beasts. Even reptiles like snakes were not overlooked.
Here's a pause.
You know that when a distinguished writer wishes to retire from writing and writes a book, he tells readers that he will retire from writing. He puts into it the essence of his thoughts, his experience, and inspiring insights from which future generations can learn. He bids people farewell until they meet again in another life, if he is one of those who believe in the afterlife, where lovers who have parted from each other for some reason meet. I know you agree with me on that. So, what do you imagine the Qur'an to be, the "final book" for all nations? The last book to be sent down from heaven, and the last Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace? Yes? Do you imagine that God created animals in vain? Far be it! So did He create them and then forget them? No way, so why don't you, O Muslim, care about what Allah the Almighty cares about? I hear you say: Do you want me to care about the spider, for example? Yes: I want you to care about the spider? Why was it found and what can you learn from it? God never created anything in vain. Know that behind you are striving, work, self-struggle, knowledge, children, etc., but this life deserves some time for contemplation, which is not a western habit, but rather is at the core of our true religion, to the extent that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, promised that whoever recites the last verses of Surah Al Imran, which is a confirmed Sunnah before the night prayer, will contemplate. Just contemplate and meditate. It is an act of worship, not a habit in our religion. The word “contemplate” does not matter how many times it appears in the Quran, but do not turn off your mind and say, “I don’t want negativity in my life, I want to protect my head from chronic thinking.” This is not chronic thinking, this is contemplation and it is an act of worship. Just remember that in our religion it is an act of worship, not a habit.
14 - The History of Nations
Now: You are certainly an expert in the famous phrase (If you want to know what is coming, look at what has passed, for things are similar). Those who do not know history do not think about the future. We are moving with the wheel of progress, and the wheel of progress was not built today, but rather built small pieces, small pieces, until it reached what science has achieved today. So, if you want to ride in the ship of advanced modern civilizational history, please do not forget your ancestors - your history - the glory of your fathers, your suffering, or the suffering of those who preceded you in this human history, for history repeats itself forever and ever. And I ask you a question: There is a movement in the West called (Creative Society). This is a modernist movement whose founders want to reshape societies in an innovative way, and they ask a philosophical question: What did religions and messengers do for their societies in terms of social reform and innovation, as well as the innovation of technology? They had questions about the prophets' prophecies regarding this painful reality that Western and Arab societies live in alike. We do not care about what they have achieved or how Muslims responded and were present for the events they carried out. Three days in a row online. Witness: Without prejudice, please? If you knew that there are 7,000 earthly religions with their messengers, their gods, and their holy books, and we assume, for the mere sake of assumption, that you do not adhere to any religion: would you think like them? But let me ask them a slightly different question. There are super-scientific robots - there are algorithms to think deeply with you - there are scientific churches today in the West, and they have said: they created God in a machine.
1- What have they offered to a ravaged humanity that is breathing with extreme difficulty, plagued by (famines - armed tribal conflicts in some countries for nearly 20 years - proxy wars - wars of extermination - and others)? Has hyper-science offered solutions?
2- There is climate migration - countries are being removed from the international map - there are countries that have relocated their capitals a few kilometers away from the same location so as not to be submerged by 2030? What have super-scientific robots offered to these afflicted people?
Now...
With all this philosophy: Does the Qur'an offer solutions to such problems? The unbiased answer: Yes.
1. Islam offered solutions for slaves (21 solutions), none of which the West offered, even with the rights declared by the United Nations.
2. Islam eradicated poverty (zero poverty by 2030). Half the world is suffering from famine, through zakat, the absence of usury, charity, the prevention of the monopolization of wealth among a wealthy few, and other solutions.
3. As for wars: The best way to deal with captives is found among Muslims. Refraining from cutting down trees, forcibly entering a church, harming a monk in his temple, or killing an infant, woman, or the elderly is only found in Islam—regardless of who applies it incorrectly. This book requires enlightened minds to stand before it in awe at the thoroughness of its ideas to human needs.
4 - Regarding climate migration and climate injustice: Islam presented the idea of migration as a central idea in the lives of humans, and even in the lives of the prophets. Move from your place, no matter what your memories are, for God’s earth is vast, and only the patient will be rewarded without measure.
15 - Talking about Consequences
Good advice is a reminder of the consequences, like saying to your son: If you don't study well, you won't succeed in the exam. Don't you love him? No, of course not. You want his best interests. What does studying do, then? It reduces the rate of attempts and repetition of mistakes on the exam paper? And after the exam paper: Do we forget what we've learned? In the East, we learn—except for what God has mercy on—like banking education: meaning, we open our minds—we pour information into them—then we open our minds and pour what's in them onto the exam paper—and then we forget. Isn't that true? Do we do the same with theoretical learning of the Quran? We memorize it perfectly—some do—and recite it to our sheikh, who then authorizes it and grants it a license that reaches the lineage of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. What next? Do we forget—not to mention forget its letters and words? Or its commands and prohibitions? Yes, we forget. All worldly knowledge: you learn it, but often don't benefit from it in practice, and you often work in a field other than your own. Do you remember what you memorized in high school or elementary school? It can't be, right? Didn't anything from that period stick in your mind? Yes, yes, I know now: I remember that teacher: Who revived me with his encouraging words when I withdrew inwardly in sadness - for whatever reason. I remember the day the teacher took me out of the class, then another teacher came and let me in and interceded for me... etc. I mean: You remember the valuable situations that had purely human feelings - that became a landmark in your life. That's how the Quran is: You will never understand if you just memorize - even if you knew the reasons for the revelation of the verses and the stories behind them. You will learn them gradually in the school of life. Whenever you go through a difficult situation: You will find comfort in the Quran. Whenever you experience joy: The Quran will stop you from excessive joy and return you to moderation. Whenever you raise your children, you will find your poverty in it, and so on and so forth. The reminder of the many consequences in the Quran is not because Allah Almighty wants to limit our perfect harmony with life, but rather to raise you above defilement and preoccupation with the temporary period - especially if it is not lawful - compared to eternity.
16- Worship
The Quran briefly describes specific acts of worship for Muslims, and this is normal. Is there a religion without acts of worship? What is the purpose of acts of worship then? What nonsense is this: I have young children I want to feed, work at home or even outside the home, and a group of friends and family. Has God forgotten that our families have a duty towards us? Does He want me to stand before Him five times a day to pray, in addition to the optional prayers? Where is the time? Why do I perform actions I don't understand—so that they may call me religious? I don't want such nonsense. What about fasting? Don't talk to me about its health benefits. I fast intermittently, and that's enough. As for zakat, you want to deduct a portion of my effort and suffering for people who don't work? Is this fair? And the biggest disaster in my actions is that I speak like other people do (the talbiyah of the Hajj pilgrims), I circle around a stone, I kiss a stone. To hell with religions.
If the above doesn't describe you, then thank God Almighty. If it does, then know that two-thirds of the Earth does not believe in God Almighty, and you are one of the majority. Forgive us (the lost one), and I will tell you briefly, in a way that doesn't do justice to the value of worship in Islam. Each act of worship is a couple of words and a cover.
Prayer: A connection between the servant and his Lord. We will remember, and what next? My non-praying brother: I will not tell you that prayer is the yoga of Muslims. I will not tell you about the value of union with the Earth in prostration, the descent of the Earth's negative charges, and your taking positive charges from the Earth. No, no, that is included in the benefits. I will tell you about something else: Are you one of those who wear a mask when you leave the house—the simplest of which is a mask that you are optimistic and happy—when in reality, you are not. Do you wear your best clothes in front of people to beautify yourself? Do you change your nature outside the home? Yes, we all do it, there is no shame in that, if it is for the sake of God, meaning: that you do not show anyone your misfortune, not so that they do not gloat over you, but rather rise above the problem until you go to the land of recompense, praising and not criticizing. As for the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, he understood the wisdom of prayer without decorations, that it is yoga for Muslims or that it removes negativity...etc. from this nonsense of human development. Rather, he said very simply (Give us relief with it, O Bilal). Give us relief from what? Dear: You run and run and run and gasp for life's demands, and this cannot be completed with you, some of us die young - may Allah prolong your life in good health - some of us get sick and some of us are forced to migrate, life's changes are sudden and do not give warning before they happen, may Allah protect you from all harm - the most important thing is that you must be tired of running inside before outside - of drinking coffee in a hurry and eating a half-filled breakfast in order to rush to work, stop and take a pause for a few minutes in which you will tell Allah what you want and renew your relationship with Him, and run and run and run again, then come back and recharge the fading pain after prayer - love and closeness and connection with the Lord of the universe - a feeling that you are doing what is required of you - then run and run and run, then Pause again, stop and recharge, Allah Almighty will never benefit from this, think, who benefits? Finally: Remember the sometimes hateful words of life coaching "life coaches": because they are like poets who say what they do not do, and their resonant words make you feel that you have understood a lot, but in truth you have understood nothing at all. What they were saying is search for your true self, and you will never reach it. If you dare and say I live with my true self, they say to you: What are the signs of that? The most important thing: Live with your true self in the hands of God Almighty. Take off the masks (the mask of arrogance about believing in God - the mask of appearing beautiful in front of people - the mask of falsehood if you are truly false) and live 5 minutes x 5 prayers = 25 minutes as your true self. It is real and cannot make you a true self after that, except with continuity and steadfastness. Be assured that it will bear fruit, at least a true version of you in the hands of God, and perhaps you will live with it among people. And let life coaching go to hell.
The fasting
Don't tell me nonsense that I fast to feel for the poor. Why was fasting prescribed for healthy poor people then? No, I won't say that. Instead, I say: God loves it, and only it, but I don't love it. This is a month prescribed throughout the year, my brother. As for the extra amount, you are free to do it. Here, we should say: Everything needs maintenance. For example, the maintenance tells you: Every few months, run a wash cycle without clothes—empty with a little vinegar—and you'll maintain it for another period. This television needs maintenance, this microwave is broken and needs repair, and so on. You, you, are a mine of organs (kidneys, liver, spleen, etc.) that don't need maintenance? Your intestines calm down from eating. Eating, knowing that intense hunger and starvation improves the mitochondria, a vital part of the body that repairs everything for you afterwards. Choose worship, for it is not a joke, and God Almighty did not command you to do anything arbitrarily, but rather with wisdom and destiny.
The Zakat
You give 2.5% of your wealth every year as a means of purification and feeding the poor, of gratitude to the benefactor for the blessing of sustenance, of cleansing from the evil eye, and of blessing your wealth, known only to the one who gives charity and pays zakat. That's it.
The Hajj
You are not required to perform Hajj every year; rather, it is only once in a lifetime if you are financially and physically able and can travel safely. However, Hajj is valid because you never know whether you will be able to do it again. As for the idea of circumambulating a stone, saying words like others, wearing clothes like others, not cutting your hair, or other rituals, it seems you know that there is a town in the West whose inhabitants live long lives solely because of clean water. And of course, they live a life that is so close to nature: if I remember well, they certainly communicate with each other verbally, but whistling is the prevailing language among them, especially when calling out. Would you like to live in such a country and live long and healthy? Perhaps? Why? Because you know your life will change, Hajj also changes you from the inside out - if you perform Hajj as God intended, and truly remember your father Abraham, peace be upon him, and truly remember the weak woman and her newborn child, "Hajar the Egyptian," and humble yourself, and abandon your luxurious, designer clothes, and do yourself the favor of not wearing sunglasses or applying sunscreen, and giving up all luxuries for a once-in-a-lifetime trip that may never happen again. Be assured that if you do this as God intended, you will return a better version of yourself than you know. This is within the limits of our limited knowledge, and we ask God Almighty to not be remiss in describing this glorious Quran.
