3- واجب الملائكة تجاه المؤمنين The duty of angels towards believers

 

 

حمايتهم للرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم

 روى مسلم في صحيحه عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال أبو جهل: هل يعفر محمد وجهه بين أظهركم؟ قال: فقيل: نعم، فقال: واللات والعزى، لئن رأيته يفعل ذلك لأطأنّ على رقبته، أو لأعفرنّ وجهه في التراب. قال: فأتى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو يصلي، زعم ليطأ على رقبته. قال: فما فجأهم منه إلا وهو ينكص على عقبه، ويتقي بيديه، قال: فقيل له: ما لك؟ فقال: إن بيني وبينه لخندقًا من نار، وهولاً وأجنحة. فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «لو دنا مني لاختطفته الملائكة عضوًا عضوًا». (ورواه البخاري بأخصر من رواية مسلم هذه، في كتاب التفسير). 

محبتهم للمؤمنين

 روى البخاري ومسلم في صحيحيهما عن أبي هريرة، رضي الله عنه، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «إذا أحب الله عبداً نادى جبريل: إن الله يحب فلاناً فأحببه، فيحبه جبريل. فينادي جبريل في أهل السماء: إن الله يحبّ فلانًا فأحبوه، فيحبه أهل السماء، ثمّ يوضع له القبول في الأرض».

 

 تسديد المؤمن الذين يدافعون عن الله تعالي أو السُنة المُطهرة

 روى البخاري في صحيحه عن حسّان بن ثابت: أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم دعا له، فقال: «اللهمّ أيده بروح القدس».

 

التأمين على دعاء المؤمنين

صحيح مسلم وسنن ابن ماجة عن أبي الدرداء عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «دعوة المرء المسلم لأخيه بظهر الغيب مستجابة، عند رأسه ملك، كلما دعا له بخير قال الملك الموكل به: آمين، ولك بمثل». ولما كان الدعاء المؤمّن عليه حريَّا بالإجابة، فإنه لا ينبغي للمؤمن أن يدعو على نفسه بشر، ففي صحيح مسلم عن أم سلمة قالت: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «لا تدعوا على أنفسكم إلا بخير، فإن الملائكة يؤمنون على ما تقولون» 

 

يستغفرون للمؤمنين

قال تعالي

 {تَكَادُ السَّمَاوَاتُ يَتَفَطَّرْنَ مِنْ فَوْقِهِنَّ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ يُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ لِمَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَلَا إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ} [الشورى: 5]

 

وقال تعالي

{الَّذِينَ يَحْمِلُونَ الْعَرْشَ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهُ يُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَيُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا رَبَّنَا وَسِعْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ رَحْمَةً وَعِلْمًا فَاغْفِرْ لِلَّذِينَ تَابُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا سَبِيلَكَ وَقِهِمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ} [غافر: 7-9]

 

 يشهدون مجالس العلم، وحلق الذكر

في صحيحي البخاري ومسلم عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: «إن لله ملائكة يطوفون في الطرق، يلتمسون أهل الذكر، فإذا وجدوا قومًا يذكرون الله تنادوا: هلموا إلى حاجتكم». قال: «فيحفونهم بأجنحتهم إلى السماء الدنيا».

 

وفي صحيح مسلم عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «وما اجتمع قوم في بيت من بيوت الله يتلون كتاب الله، ويتدارسونه بينهم إلا نزلت عليهم السكينة، وغشيتهم الرحمة، وحفّتهم الملائكة، وذكرهم الله فيمن عنده».

 

 وفي سنن الترمذي عن أبي الدرداء قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: «إن الملائكة لتضع أجنحتها لطالب العلم رضاً بما يصنع» (أي: تتواضع له)

 

  تسجيل الملائكة الذين يحضرون الجمعة

 وهؤلاء الملائكة يسجلون بعض أعمال العباد، فيسجلون الذين يؤمون الجُمَع الأول فالأول. فعن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «إذا كان يوم الجمعة وقفت الملائكة على باب المسجد يكتبون الأول فالأول، فإذا خرج الإمام طووا صحفهم، وجلسوا يستمعون الذكر» (متفق عليه)

 

الكتبة من الملائكة غير المراقبين للعبد 

ففي صحيح البخاري وغيره عن رفاعة بن رافع الزرقي قال: كنا يوماً نصلي وراء النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فلما رفع رأسه من الركعة، قال: سمع الله لمن حمده، قال رجل وراءَه: ربنا ولك الحمد حمداً كثيراً طيباً مباركاً فيه. فلما انصرف، قال: «من المتكلم؟» قال: أنا. قال: «لقد رأيت بضعة وثلاثين ملكاً يبتدرونها أيهم يكتبها أول»وذلك لكونهم بضعة وثلاثين ملكاً وليس ملكين فقط 

 

تعاقب الملائكة علي المؤمنين صباحاً ومساءا

 

قال تعالي

 {وَقُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ إِنَّ قُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ كَانَ مَشْهُودًا} [الإسراء: 78]

ففي صحيحي البخاري ومسلم عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه: أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «إن لله ملائكة يتعاقبون فيكم، ملائكة بالليل وملائكة بالنهار، ويجتمعون في صلاة الفجر وصلاة العصر، ثم يعرج الذين باتوا فيكم، فيسألهم ربهم، وهو أعلم بهم: كيف تركتم عبادي؟ فيقولون: تركناهم وهم يصلون، وأتيناهم وهم يصلون

و في صحيح مسلم عن أبي موسى الأشعري رضي الله عنه قال: قام فينا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بخمس كلمات، فقال: «إنّ الله عزّ وجلّ لا ينام، ولا ينبغي له أن ينام، يخفض القسط ويرفعه، يُرفع إليه عمل الليل قبل النهار، وعمل النهار قبل الليل...» الحديث

تنزلهم عند سماع القرآن بصوت ندي ومهارة في القراءة مع خشوع

ففي صحيح مسلم عن البراء بن عازب قال قرأ رجل سورة الكهف، وفي الدار دابة، فجعلت تنفر، فإذا ضبابة أو سحابة قد غشيته، قال فذكر للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم. فقال: «اقرأ الآن، فإنها السكينة تنزلت عند القرآن -أو تنزلت للقرآن-»

 وعن أبي سعيد الخدري رضي الله عنه: أن أسيد بن حضير بينما هو في ليلة يقرأ في مربده، إذ جالت فرسه، فقرأ، ثم جالت أخرى، فقرأ، ثم جالت أيضًا. قال أسيد: فخشيت أن تطأ يحيى، فقمت إليها، فإذا مثل الظلة فوق رأسي، فيها أمثال السرج، عرجت في الجوّ حتى ما أراها. قال: فغدوت على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقلت: يا رسول الله، بينا أنا البارحة من جوف الليل أقرأ في مربدي، إذ جالت فرسي، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «اقرأ ابن حضير»، قال: فقرأت، ثمّ جالت أيضًا، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «اقرأ ابن حضير»، قال: فقرأت، ثم جالت أيضًا، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «اقرأ ابن حضير»، قال: فانصرفت، وكان يحيى قريبًا منها، خشيت أن تطأه، فرأيت مثل الظلة فيها أمثال السرج، عرجت في الجوّ حتى ما أراها. فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «تلك الملائكة كانت تسمع لك، ولو قرأت لأصبحت يراها الناس ما تستتر منهم».

مبلغين رسول الله صلي الله عليه وسلم (سلامنا) 

روى النسائي والدارمي عن عبد الله بن مسعود قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «إن لله ملائكة سياحين في الأرض يبلغوني عن أمتي السلام»

 

يبشرون المؤمنين

قال تعالي

{هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ ضَيْفِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْمُكْرَمِينَ إِذْ دَخَلُوا عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُوا سَلامًا قَالَ سَلامٌ قَوْمٌ مُّنكَرُونَ فَرَاغَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ فَجَاء بِعِجْلٍ سَمِينٍ فَقَرَّبَهُ إِلَيْهِمْ قَالَ أَلا تَأْكُلُونَ فَأَوْجَسَ مِنْهُمْ خِيفَةً قَالُوا لا تَخَفْ وَبَشَّرُوهُ بِغُلامٍ عَلِيمٍ} [الذاريات: 24-28].

وقال تعالي

{فَنَادَتْهُ الْمَلآئِكَةُ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي فِي الْمِحْرَابِ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يُبَشِّرُكَ بِيَحْيَـى} [آل عمران: 39]

 

يتواجدون عند وجود المتحابين في الله

صحيح مسلم عن أبي هريرة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «إنّ رجلاً زار أخًا له في قرية أخرى، فأرصد الله له على مدرجته -طريقه- ملكًا، فلما أتى عليه، قال: أين تريد؟ قال: أريد أخًا لي في هذه القرية، قال: هل لك عليه من نعمة تربّها؟ قال: لا، غير أني أحببته في الله عزّ وجلّ، قال: فإني رسول الله إليك بأن الله قد أحبك كما أحببته فيه». وفي صحيح البخاري ومسلم عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «أتاني جبريل، فقال: يا رسول الله! هذه خديجة قد أتتك معها إناء فيه إِدام - أو طعام، أو شراب - فإذا هي قد أتتك، فاقرأ عليها السلام من ربّها ومني، وبشرها ببيت في الجنة من قصب، لا صخب فيه ولا نصب»

الملائكة تظهر لبعض المؤمنين في الرؤيا الصالحة

 روى البخاري في صحيحه في باب التهجد، عن عبد الله بن عمر رضي الله عنهما، قال: كان الرجل في حياة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا رأى رؤيا قصّها على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فتمنيت أن أرى رؤيا فأقصها على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، وكنت غلامًا شابًا، وكنت أنام في المسجد على عهد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فرأيت في النوم كأن ملكين أخذاني فذهبا بي إلى النار، فإذا هي مطوية كطيّ البئر، وإذا لها قرنان كقرني البئر، وإذا فيها أناس قد عرفتهم، فجعلت أقول: أعوذ بالله من النار، قال: فلقيهما ملك آخر، فقال لي: لم ترع  (أي: لا تخف)

وفي صحيح البخاري عن عائشة رضي الله عنها قالت: قال لي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «أريتك في المنام يجيء بك الملك في سَرَقَةٍ من حرير، فقال لي: هذه امرأتك، فكشفتُ عن وجهك الثوب، فإذا أنت هي، فقلت: إن يك هذا من الله يمضه»

يقاتلون مع المؤمنين ويثبتونهم في حروبهم

قال تعالي

 {إِذْ تَسْتَغِيثُونَ رَبَّكُمْ فَاسْتَجَابَ لَكُمْ أَنِّي مُمِدُّكُم بِأَلْفٍ مِّنَ الْمَلآئِكَةِ مُرْدِفِينَ} [الأنفال: 9]

و قال تعالي

 {وَلَقَدْ نَصَرَكُمُ اللَّهُ بِبَدْرٍ وَأَنتُمْ أَذِلَّةٌ فَاتَّقُواْ اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ إِذْ تَقُولُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَلَن يَكْفِيكُمْ أَن يُمِدَّكُمْ رَبُّكُم بِثَلاَثَةِ آلاَفٍ مِّنَ الْمَلآئِكَةِ مُنزَلِينَ بَلَى إِن تَصْبِرُواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ وَيَأْتُوكُم مِّن فَوْرِهِمْ هَـذَا يُمْدِدْكُمْ رَبُّكُم بِخَمْسَةِ آلافٍ مِّنَ الْمَلآئِكَةِ مُسَوِّمِينَ} [آل عمران: 123-125]

قال تعالي

{وَمَا جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ إِلاَّ بُشْرَى وَلِتَطْمَئِنَّ بِهِ قُلُوبُكُمْ وَمَا النَّصْرُ إِلاَّ مِنْ عِندِ اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ} [الأنفال: 10]، {إِذْ يُوحِي رَبُّكَ إِلَى الْمَلآئِكَةِ أَنِّي مَعَكُمْ فَثَبِّتُواْ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ سَأُلْقِي فِي قُلُوبِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ الرَّعْبَ فَاضْرِبُواْ فَوْقَ الأَعْنَاقِ وَاضْرِبُواْ مِنْهُمْ كُلَّ بَنَانٍ} [الأنفال: 12]

 وفي صحيح البخاري عن ابن عباس أن الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم قال في يوم بدر: «هذا جبريل آخذ برأس فرسه، عليه أداة حرب»

في صحيح مسلم عن ابن عباس قال: بينما رجل من المسلمين يومئذٍ يشتدّ في أثر رجل من المشركين أمامه إذ سمع ضربة بالسوط فوقه، وصوت الفارس يقول: أقدم حيزوم، فنظر إلى المشرك أمامه، فخرّ مستلقيًا، فنظر إليه، فإذا هو قد خُطم أنفه، وشقّ وجهه، كضربة السوط، فاخضر ذلك أجمع، فجاء الأنصاري، فحدث بذلك رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال: «صدقت، ذلك من مدد السماء الثالثة».

 

وفي غزوة الخندق أرسل الله ملائكته

قال تعالي

{يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ جَاءتْكُمْ جُنُودٌ فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحًا وَجُنُودًا لَّمْ تَرَوْهَا} [الأحزاب: 9]والمراد بالجنود التي لم يروها الملائكة، كما ثبت في الصحاح وفي غيرها: أن جبريل جاء الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم بعد رجوعه صلى الله عليه وسلم من الخندق وقد وضع سلاحه واغتسل، فأتاه جبريل وهو ينفض رأسه من الغبار، فقال للرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم: وضعت السلاح؟ والله ما وضعناه، أخرج إليهم، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «فأين؟» فأشار إلى بني قريظة،  وفي صحيح البخاري عن أنس رضي الله عنه قال: كأني أنظر إلى الغبار ساطعًا في زقاق بني غنم، موكب جبريل حين سار رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إلى بني قريظة.

 

شهود الملائكة لجنازة الصالحين

 قال الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم في سعد بن معاذ: «هذا الذي تحرّك له العرش، وفتحت له أبواب السماء، وشهده سبعون ألفًا من الملائكة، لقد ضُمّ ضمة، ثمّ فرّج عنه». (رواه النسائي عن ابن عمرٍ).

 

تظليل الشهيد بأجنحتها

قال تعالى

 {وَقَالَ لَهُمْ نِبِيُّهُمْ إِنَّ آيَةَ مُلْكِهِ أَن يَأْتِيَكُمُ التَّابُوتُ فِيهِ سَكِينَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَبَقِيَّةٌ مِّمَّا تَرَكَ آلُ مُوسَى وَآلُ هَارُونَ تَحْمِلُهُ الْمَلآئِكَةُ} [البقرة: 248]

والذي يعنينا من هذه الآية في هذا السياق ما أخبرنا الله به، أن الملائكة جاءت بني إسرائيل، في تلك الفترة، بتابوت تطمينًا لهم وتثبيتًا؛ كي يعلموا أن طالوت مختار من الله تعالى، فيتبعوهُ، ويطيعوهُ. 

 في البخاري عن جابر رضي الله عنه قال: جيء بأبي إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وقد مثل به، ووضع بين يديه، فذهبت أكشف عن وجهه، فنهاني قومي، فسمع صوت نائحة، فقيل: ابنة عمرو -أو أخت عمرو-. فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: «لمَ تبكي -أو لا تبكي- ما زالت الملائكة تظله بأجنحتها»  

 

 حمايتهم للمدينة ومكة من الدجال

 يدخل الدجال عندما يخرج كل بلد إلا مكة والمدينة؛ لحماية الملائكة لهما، كما ثبت ذلك في صحيح مسلم من حديث فاطمة بنت قيس من قصة تميم الداري: أن الدجال قال: إني أنا المسيح الدجال، وإني أوشك أن يؤذن لي في الخروج، فأخرج فأسير في الأرض، فلا أدع قرية إلا هبطتها في أربعين ليلة، غير مكة وطيبة، فهما محرمتان عليّ كلتاهما، كلما أردت أن أدخل واحدة، أو أحداً منهما، استقبلني ملك بيده السيف صلتاً، يصدني عنهما، وإن على كل نَقْب منها ملائكة يحرسونها. قالت: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، وطعن بمخصرته في المنبر: «هذه طيبة، هذه طيبة، هذه طيبة» (يعني: المدينة).

وروى البخاري عن أبي بكرة رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «لا يدخل المدينة رعب المسيح الدجال، ولها يومئذٍ سبعة أبواب، على كل باب ملكان». وفي صحيح البخاري أيضاً عن أبي هريرة: أن الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «على أنقاب المدينة ملائكة، لا يدخلها الطاعون ولا الدجال»

 

 نزول عيسى عليه السلام في آخر الزمان بصحبة ملكين

 في سنن الترمذي عن النواس بن سمعان عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: في ذكره حديث الدجال وفيه: «فبينما هو كذلك إذ هبط عيسى ابن مريم عليه السلام بشرقي دمشق، عند المنارة البيضاء، بين مهرودتين، واضعاً يَدَيْهِ على أجنحة ملكين».

 

 الملائكة باسطة أجنحتها على الشام

عن زيد بن ثابت الأنصاري رضي الله عنه قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: «يا طوبى للشام، يا طوبى للشام». قالوا: يا رسول الله وبم ذلك؟ قال: «تلك ملائكة الله باسطوا أجنحتها على الشام

 

موافقة تأمين المأمومين لتأمين الإمام في الفاتحة = موافقة تأمين الملائكة

ما في موافقة الملائكة من أجر وثواب: ثبت في الصحيحين أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «إذا أمّن الإمام فأَمِّنوا، فإنه من وافق تأمينه تأمين الملائكة غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه».

 وفي صحيح البخاري: «إذا قال أحدكم: آمين، وقالت الملائكة في السماء: آمين، فوافقت إحداهما الأخرى، غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه».

 وفي صحيح البخاري عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه

 أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «إذا قال الإمام: سمع الله لمن حمده، فقولوا: اللهمّ ربنا لك الحمد، فإنه من وافق قوله قول الملائكة غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه»

التأمين على دعاء المؤمنين

الملائكة يؤمنِّون على دعاء المؤمن: وبذلك يكون الدعاء أقرب إلى الإجابة، ففي صحيح مسلم وسنن ابن ماجة عن أبي الدرداء عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: ((دعوة المرء المسلم لأخيه بظهر الغيب مستجابة، عند رأسه ملك، كلما دعا له بخير قال الملك الموكل به: آمين، ولك بمثل))

نزول السكينة والملائكة عند أبواب وحلق الذكر في المساجد

حضور مجالس الذكر يقول النبي ﷺ: " وما اجتمع قومٌ في بيتٍ من بيوتِ اللهِ يتلونَ كتاب الله و يتدارسونهُ بينهمْ إلا نزلت عليهمُ السكينةُ وغشيتْهمُ الرحمةُ و حفثْهم الملائكةُ وذكرهمُ اللهُ فيمنْ عندَه ".

 

 الذين ينتظرون في مصلاهم يذكرون الله بعد الصلاة

في صحيح مسلم عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «إن الملائكة تصلي على أحدكم ما دام في مجلسه، تقول: اللهمّ اغفر له، اللهم ارحمه. ما لم يُحدث».

 

يدعون للذين يصلون في الصف الأول

 في سنن أبي داود عن البراء بن عازب رضي الله عنه: أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: «إن الله وملائكته يصلون على الصفوف الأول». وفي سنن النسائي: «على الصفوف المتقدمة». وفي سنن ابن ماجة من حديث البراء، وحديث عبد الرحمن بن عوف: «إن الله وملائكته يصلون على الصف الأول»

تحية الملائكة للمؤمنين الطيبين عند قبض أرواحهم

قال الله تعالى

 {الَّذِينَ تَتَوَفَّاهُمْ الْمَلائِكَةُ طَيِّبِينَ يَقُولُونَ سَلامٌ عَلَيْكُمْ}(النحل:32)

 قال القرطبي: "{يَقُولُونَ سَلامٌ عَلَيْكُمْ} يحتمل وجهين: أحدهما: أن يكون السلام إنذارا لهم بالوفاة. الثاني: أن يكون تبشيرا لهم بالجنة، لأن السلام أمان". وقال الطبري: "وقوله {يَقُولُونَ سَلامٌ عَلَيْكُمُ} يعني جلّ ثناؤه أن الملائكة تقبض أرواح هؤلاء المتقين، وهي تقول لهم: سلام عليكم، صيروا إلى الجنة بشارة من الله تبشرهم بها الملائكة".

Their Protection of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace

Muslim narrated in his Sahih on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may God be pleased with him) that Abu Jahl said: “Does Muhammad cover his face with dust in your presence?” He was told: “Yes.” He said: “By Al-Lat and Al-Uzza, if I see him do that, I will step on his neck or I will cover his face with dust.” He approached the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, while he was praying, intending to step on his neck. They were surprised by him, but he retreated on his heels and shielded himself with his hands. They asked him: “What is the matter with you?” He replied: “Between me and him is a trench of fire, terror, and wings.” The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “If he were to come near me, the angels would snatch him away, limb by limb.” (Al-Bukhari also narrated this version in a shorter version from Muslim, in the Book of Tafsir.)

Their love for the believers

Bukhari and Muslim narrated in their Sahihs on the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “When God loves a servant, He calls out to Gabriel: ‘God loves so-and-so, so love him.’ Gabriel loves him. Then Gabriel calls out to the inhabitants of heaven: ‘God loves so-and-so, so love him.’ The inhabitants of heaven love him, and then acceptance is established for him on earth.”

Supporting the Believers Who Defend God Almighty or the Purified Sunnah

Bukhari narrated in his Sahih on the authority of Hassan ibn Thabit that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, supplicated for him, saying: “O God, support him with the Holy Spirit.”

The Reassurance on the supplications of believers

Sahih Muslim and Sunan Ibn Majah on the authority of Abu al-Darda', on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, who said: "A Muslim's supplication for his brother in his absence is answered. An angel is at his head. Whenever he supplicates for him with good, the angel in charge says, 'Amen, and the same for you.'" Since a prayer that is believed is likely to be answered, a believer should not pray for evil against himself. In Sahih Muslim, on the authority of Umm Salamah, she said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Do not pray for anything but good against yourselves, for the angels say, 'Ameen,' to whatever you say."

They seek forgiveness for the believers

Allah, the Most High, says:

 {تَكَادُ السَّمَاوَاتُ يَتَفَطَّرْنَ مِنْ فَوْقِهِنَّ وَالْمَلَائِكَةُ يُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ لِمَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَلَا إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ} [الشورى: 5]

"The heavens almost burst from above them, and the angels exalt [Allah] with praise of their Lord and ask forgiveness for those on earth, Allah is the Forgiving, the Merciful." [Ash-Shura: 5]

And Allah, the Most High, says:

{الَّذِينَ يَحْمِلُونَ الْعَرْشَ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهُ يُسَبِّحُونَ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّهِمْ وَيُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا رَبَّنَا وَسِعْتَ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ رَحْمَةً وَعِلْمًا فَاغْفِرْ لِلَّذِينَ تَابُوا وَاتَّبَعُوا سَبِيلَكَ وَقِهِمْ عَذَابَ الْجَحِيمِ} [غافر: 7-9]

"Those who bear the Throne and those around it." They exalt [Allah] with praise of their Lord and believe in Him and ask forgiveness for those who have believed, [saying], “Our Lord, You have encompassed all things in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who have repented and followed Your way and protect them from the punishment of Hellfire.” [Ghafir: 7-9]

The Angels Who Recording Whose Attend Friday Prayers

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “When it is Friday, the angels stand at the door of the mosque, writing down the names of those who perform the prayer first. The scribes are among the angels who do not monitor the servant

In Sahih al-Bukhari and elsewhere, it is narrated on the authority of Rifa’ah ibn Rafi’ al-Zarqi that he said: “One day we were praying behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). When he raised his head from the bowing position, he said, ‘Allah hears those who praise Him.’ A man behind him said, ‘Our Lord, to You be praise, abundant, good, and blessed.’ When he finished, he asked, ‘Who spoke?’ He said, ‘I.’ He said, ‘I saw thirty-odd angels racing to see which of them would be the first to write it down.’” This is because there were thirty-odd angels, not just two.

The Angels whose take turns among the believers morning and evening

God Almighty said

 {وَقُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ إِنَّ قُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ كَانَ مَشْهُودًا} [الإسراء: 78]

 {And the recitation of the Qur'an at dawn. Indeed, the recitation of the Qur'an at dawn is ever witnessed.} [Al-Isra: 78]

In Sahih Al-Bukhari and Muslim, on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Allah has angels who take turns among you, angels by night and angels by day. They gather at the dawn prayer and the afternoon prayer. Then those who spent the night among you ascend, and their Lord asks them, and He knows them best: ‘How did you leave My servants?’” They say: We left them praying, and we came to them praying.

In Sahih Muslim, on the authority of Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stood among us and said five words: "Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, does not sleep, nor is it befitting for Him to sleep. He lowers the balance and raises it. The deeds of the night are raised to Him before those of the day, and the deeds of the day before those of the night..."

They descend upon hearing the Qur'an in a melodious voice and skillful recitation with humility

In Sahih Muslim, on the authority of al-Bara' ibn 'Azib, he said: A man was reciting Surat al-Kahf, and there was a beast in the house, and it began to shudder. Then, a mist or cloud enveloped it. He mentioned it to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he said: "Recite now, for this is tranquility that descends with the Qur'an—or was revealed for the Qur'an."

On the authority of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him), that while Usayd ibn Hudayr was reciting in his stable one night, his horse bolted. He recited, then another bolted. He recited, then another bolted. Asid said: “I was afraid that it might step on Yahya, so I went to it. There I saw something like a canopy over my head, with things like saddles in it. It ascended in the air until I could not see it. I went to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in the morning and said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, while I was last night reciting in my stall in the middle of the night, my horse galloped. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Recite, Ibn Hudair.” So it recited, then galloped again. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Recite, Ibn Hudair.” So it recited, then galloped again. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Recite, Ibn Hudair.” So it turned back, and Yahya was close to it. I was afraid that it might step on him, but I saw something like a canopy with things like saddles in it. It ascended in the air until I could not see it. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Those were the angels who were listening to you. If you had recited, people would have seen it in the morning, as it would not have hidden itself from them.”

Conveyors of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) (our greetings)

Al-Nasa'i and Al-Darimi narrated on the authority of Abdullah ibn Mas'ud that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah has angels who travel around the earth, conveying to me the greetings of my nation."

They give good tidings to the believers

Allah, the Most High, said:

{هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ ضَيْفِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْمُكْرَمِينَ إِذْ دَخَلُوا عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُوا سَلامًا قَالَ سَلامٌ قَوْمٌ مُّنكَرُونَ فَرَاغَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ فَجَاء بِعِجْلٍ سَمِينٍ فَقَرَّبَهُ إِلَيْهِمْ قَالَ أَلا تَأْكُلُونَ فَأَوْجَسَ مِنْهُمْ خِيفَةً قَالُوا لا تَخَفْ وَبَشَّرُوهُ بِغُلامٍ عَلِيمٍ} [الذاريات: 24-28].

{Has there come to you the story of the honored guests of Abraham, when they entered upon him and said, "Peace." He said, "Peace, an unknown people." Then he turned to his family and brought a fattened calf and presented it to them. He said, "Will you not eat?" And he felt fear of them. They said, "Do not fear." And give him good tidings of a learned boy. [Adh-Dhariyat: 24-28]

And God Almighty said

{فَنَادَتْهُ الْمَلآئِكَةُ وَهُوَ قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي فِي الْمِحْرَابِ أَنَّ اللَّهَ يُبَشِّرُكَ بِيَحْيَـى} [آل عمران: 39]

{The angels called to him while he was standing praying in the sanctuary, "Indeed, Allah gives you good tidings of John."} [Al-Imran: 39]

They are present when those who love one another for the sake of Allah are present

Sahih Muslim narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A man visited his brother in another village, and Allah stationed an angel on his path. When he came to him, he said, 'Where are you going?' He said, 'I want a brother of mine in this village.' He said, 'Do you have a favor on him that you can repay?' He said, 'No, except that I loved him for the sake of Allah, the Almighty and Majestic.' He said, 'I am the messenger of Allah to you, informing you that Allah has loved you as you loved him for His sake.'" In Sahih al-Bukhari and Muslim, on the authority of Abu Hurayrah, may God be pleased with him, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Gabriel came to me and said: O Messenger of God! This is Khadija, who has come to you with a vessel containing food or drink. So convey to her the greetings of her Lord and of me, and give her the good news of a house in Paradise made of pearls, in which there will be neither noise nor toil.”

The Angels appear to some believers in good dreams

Al-Bukhari narrated in his Sahih in the chapter on Tahajjud (Night Prayers), on the authority of Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), who said: “During the lifetime of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), whenever a man had a dream, he would tell it to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). I longed to see a dream and tell it to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). I was a young boy, and I used to sleep in the mosque during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). I saw in a dream that two angels took me and led me to Hell. It was folded like a well, and it had two horns like the horns of a well. There were people in it that I recognized. I began to say, ‘I seek refuge in Allah from the Fire.’ Then another angel met them and said to me, ‘Do not be afraid.’”

In Sahih Al-Bukhari, on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she said, “The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me, ‘I saw you in a dream. An angel brought you in a silk garment and said to me, ‘This is your wife.’ So I uncovered the garment from your face. So you are her, so I said: If this is from God, let it happen.

They fight alongside the believers and support them in their wars

God Almighty said

 {إِذْ تَسْتَغِيثُونَ رَبَّكُمْ فَاسْتَجَابَ لَكُمْ أَنِّي مُمِدُّكُم بِأَلْفٍ مِّنَ الْمَلآئِكَةِ مُرْدِفِينَ} [الأنفال: 9]

{When you sought aid from your Lord, and He responded to you, "I will reinforce you with a thousand angels, following one another."} [Al-Anfal: 9]

And God Almighty said:

 {وَلَقَدْ نَصَرَكُمُ اللَّهُ بِبَدْرٍ وَأَنتُمْ أَذِلَّةٌ فَاتَّقُواْ اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ إِذْ تَقُولُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَلَن يَكْفِيكُمْ أَن يُمِدَّكُمْ رَبُّكُم بِثَلاَثَةِ آلاَفٍ مِّنَ الْمَلآئِكَةِ مُنزَلِينَ بَلَى إِن تَصْبِرُواْ وَتَتَّقُواْ وَيَأْتُوكُم مِّن فَوْرِهِمْ هَـذَا يُمْدِدْكُمْ رَبُّكُم بِخَمْسَةِ آلافٍ مِّنَ الْمَلآئِكَةِ مُسَوِّمِينَ} [آل عمران: 123-125]

{And God had already given you victory at Badr when you were weak. So fear God that you may be grateful. When you said to the believers, "Will it not suffice you that your Lord should reinforce you with three thousand angels?" The angels are sent down. Yes, if you are patient and fear Allah and they come to you immediately, your Lord will reinforce you with five thousand angels, marked. [Al Imran: 123-125

God Almighty said:

{وَمَا جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ إِلاَّ بُشْرَى وَلِتَطْمَئِنَّ بِهِ قُلُوبُكُمْ وَمَا النَّصْرُ إِلاَّ مِنْ عِندِ اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ} [الأنفال: 10]، {إِذْ يُوحِي رَبُّكَ إِلَى الْمَلآئِكَةِ أَنِّي مَعَكُمْ فَثَبِّتُواْ الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ سَأُلْقِي فِي قُلُوبِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ الرَّعْبَ فَاضْرِبُواْ فَوْقَ الأَعْنَاقِ وَاضْرِبُواْ مِنْهُمْ كُلَّ بَنَانٍ} [الأنفال: 12]

{And Allah did not make it except as good tidings and that your hearts might be reassured thereby. And victory is not but from Allah. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.} [Al Anfal: 10], {When your Lord inspired The angels [saying], "Indeed, I am with you, so strengthen those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve, so strike [them] above the necks and strike from them every fingertip." [Al-Anfal: 12]

They attend the funeral of righteous people

The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said about Sa'd ibn Mu'adh: "This is the one for whom the Throne moved, the gates of heaven were opened, and seventy thousand angels witnessed his death. He was squeezed tightly, then released." (Narrated by al-Nasa'i on the authority of Ibn 'Umar.)

The Shading the Martyr with Their Wings

God Almighty said:

 {وَقَالَ لَهُمْ نِبِيُّهُمْ إِنَّ آيَةَ مُلْكِهِ أَن يَأْتِيَكُمُ التَّابُوتُ فِيهِ سَكِينَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَبَقِيَّةٌ مِّمَّا تَرَكَ آلُ مُوسَى وَآلُ هَارُونَ تَحْمِلُهُ الْمَلآئِكَةُ} [البقرة: 248]

{And their prophet said to them, "Indeed, the sign of his kingship is that there will come to you the Ark, wherein is tranquility from your Lord and a remnant of what the family of Moses and the family of Aaron left behind, carried by the angels."} [Al-Baqarah: 248]

What concerns us in this verse in this context is what God has informed us of: that the angels brought the Ark to the Children of Israel during that period to reassure and strengthen them, so that they would know that Saul was chosen by God Almighty, so they would follow him and obey him.

In Bukhari, on the authority of Jabir, may God be pleased with him, who said: My father was brought to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, having been mutilated and placed before him. I went to uncover his face, but my people forbade me. Then a woman’s voice was heard, and it was said: The daughter of Amr - or the sister of Amr - so the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Why are you crying - or not crying - while the angels have been shading him with their wings.”

Their Protection of Medina and Mecca from the Dajjal

The Dajjal will enter when every city except Mecca and Medina emerges, due to the angels' protection of them. This is confirmed in Sahih Muslim from the hadith of Fatimah bint Qays from the story of Tamim al-Dari: The Dajjal said, "I am the Antichrist, and permission will soon be given to me to emerge. I will go forth and travel throughout the earth, and I will not leave a city without descending upon it in forty nights, except for Mecca and Medina, both of which are forbidden to me. Whenever I want to enter one of them, or one of them, an angel with a drawn sword will meet me, preventing me from entering them. Angels guarding each of them are at each pass." She said, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, and he thrust his staff into the pulpit: 'This is Medina, this is Medina, this is Medina'" (meaning Medina).

Al-Bukhari narrated from Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "The terror of the Antichrist will not enter Medina, and on that day it will have seven gates, with two angels at each gate." In Sahih Al-Bukhari also on the authority of Abu Hurairah: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “There are angels at the entrances of Medina. Neither the plague nor the Antichrist will enter it.”

The Descent of Jesus, peace be upon him, at the End of Time Accompanied by Two Angels

In Sunan al-Tirmidhi, on the authority of al-Nawwas ibn Sam'an, on the authority of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in his mention of the hadith of the Antichrist, it says: "While he was like this, Jesus, son of Mary, peace be upon him, descended to the east of Damascus, near the white minaret, between two humpbacked minarets, placing his hands on the wings of two angels."

The Angels Spreading Their Wings Over levant

On the authority of Zayd ibn Thabit al-Ansari, may God be pleased with him, who said: I heard the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "Blessed is Syria, blessed is Syria." They said: "O Messenger of God, why is that?" He said: "Those are the angels of God spreading their wings over Syria."

The congregation's amen agreeing with the imam's amen in Al-Fatihah = agreeing with the angels' amen

The reward and benefits of agreeing with the angels: It is proven in the two Sahihs that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the imam says amen, then say amen, for whoever's amen coincides with the angels' amen, his previous sins will be forgiven."

In Sahih Al-Bukhari: "If one of you says amen, and the angels in heaven say amen, and they coincide with each other, his previous sins will be forgiven."

In Sahih al-Bukhari, on the authority of Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him),

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “When the imam says, ‘Allah hears those who praise Him,’ then say, ‘O Allah, our Lord, to You be praise.’ For whoever says the same as the angels, his previous sins will be forgiven.”

Reciting ‘Ameen’ to the supplications of believers

The angels respond to the supplications of believers: This makes the supplication more likely to be answered. In Sahih Muslim and Sunan Ibn Majah, on the authority of Abu al-Darda’, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “The supplication of a Muslim for his brother in his absence is answered. An angel is at his head. Whenever he supplicates for him with good, the angel assigned to him says, ‘Ameen, and the same for you.’”

The descent of tranquility and angels at the doors and circles of remembrance in mosques

Attending gatherings of remembrance. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “No group of people gather in one of the houses of Allah, reciting the Book of Allah and studying it among themselves, except that tranquility descends upon them, mercy covers them, the angels encourage them, and Allah reminds them.” "For those who are with him."

Those who wait in their prayer places remember God after the prayer

In Sahih Muslim, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: "The angels send blessings upon one of you as long as he remains in his seat, saying: 'O God, forgive him, O God, have mercy upon him.' As long as he does not break his ablution."

They pray for those who pray in the first row

In Sunan Abi Dawud, on the authority of Al-Bara' ibn 'Azib, may God be pleased with him, the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: "God and His angels send blessings upon the first rows." And in Sunan An-Nasa'i: "The front rows." In Sunan Ibn Majah, from the hadith of Al-Bara' and the hadith of Abdur-Rahman ibn Awf, it is stated: "Allah and His angels send blessings upon the first row."

The angels' greeting to the righteous believers when they taken their souls 

Allah Almighty said:

{الذين تتوفاهم الملائكة وهم طيبون يقولون سلام عليكم} (النحل: ٣٢)

{Those whom the angels take in death while they are good, they say, "Peace be upon you."} (An-Nahl: 32)

Al-Qurtubi said: "{They say, "Peace be upon you"} has two possible meanings: First, that the greeting is a warning of death. Second, that it is a message of good news for them of Paradise, because peace is security." Al-Tabari said: "His statement, {They say, "Peace be upon you"} means that the angels take the souls of these righteous people, saying to them, "Peace be upon you. Go to Paradise," as good news from Allah, which the angels give them."
